Even college romance stories require research though, heaven knows I’ve been there and done that! It’s an ongoing process, even in the middle of writing the story.
The Latest RESEARCH TIDBITS
One of the things that’s cool to do in a story is to have a “signature scent” for the hero and/or heroine. But for the hero in this story, Jack Hunter, I didn’t want it to be the same old spicy musky scent, so I did some research. How? I googled men’s colognes. And I found the perfect one for Jack Hunter, BMOC. Since he doesn’t have a lot of money, I didn’t want to use one of those crazy expensive chi-chi designer colognes. So this is what I found! Perfect, don’t you think?
